Decomposed/Composed was a journey to explore the birth and death of nature. The chia seeds represent the cycle of life that we experience in our lives.  Andrea  Wellnitz planted chia seeds on burlap and over time the seeds would grow and then were left to wither and dry up.  Exploring the configurations of the growing burlap and changed over time as did the plant material.
